The Adrenalist isn’t alone on the Internet. In fact, we’re a new player on a reasonably large playing field of online adventure journalism and entertainment.

In late November, Outside Online, one of our more venerable peers, measured the field and picked out 10 favorite adventure blogs. Topping the list is Adventure Journal, a clean and informed web destination for readers interested in everything, from polls on ‘Who should pay for the cost of rescues?’ to news stories about mastodon bones unearthed in the shadow of one of America’s top ski resorts.
