This video is the result of a collaboration between two industry leaders in the world of extreme sports. InfinityList, leader in high-quality, cinematic action sports videos, teamed up with Merecedes Benz Magazine to showcase Australian BMX biker, Danny Campbell. Campbell conquers “Wave Rock,” a 47 feet (14 meter) high 350 feet (110 meter) long granite rock face shaped like an over-vert pipe in Western Australia’s Outback.

Shot over a grueling 3-day stretch in the Hyden Wildlife Park, where temperatures are in the apolalyptic region where sponteanous combustion isn’t totaly far-fetched, the Wave Rock is hundreds of miles from the nearest Australian city of Perth. Danny Campbell spent a half day canvassing the granite rock, and noting it’s rougher-than-expected lips and dips that look smooth to the outside observer, but possess enough irregular divots to challenge even the best riders in the world.

The Wave Rock is so named because of it’s resemblance to the face of a wave. It almost appears as if Poseidon decided to create a lasting image to himself in granite; the rock a commemoration of his lording the high seas. Way makes riding it look very easy in the video, but even the most advanced riders would have a hard time flipping, and flying like Way does because the granite face is not without wrinkles in the terrain. Even though it seems sandblasted to perfection in honor of Poseidon, it’s got the pock marks and bumpy lumps characteristic of all of life’s natural beauties.

Click play below and marvel at how Way rides the Australian treasure. If the combination of his riding and the otherworldly beauty of the terrain doesn’t impress you, then you’ve spent too much with an unstimulated adrenal gland.

Just when you think the trick couldn’t get any cooler, it does. Then it gets even more cool.

“How did Drew Bezanson do that?” you may wonder. We’re curious too.

We just have so many questions for him: How many hours did it take for you to master a barspin to wallride to tailwhip stunt like that? Was it nerve racking to attempt? How awesome was it to hear the crowd at the 2012 Toronto BMX Jam go nuts after you landed it? Will you teach us? Are you free to start later this afternoon?

Drew, get at us.

Are you a member of the elderly community? Has your driver’s license been taken away by your pesky, worrywart kids? Do you enjoy an open air ride? If so, this souped-up scooter capable of reaching speeds up to 70 mph may be right for you!

We’re joking. No grandparent should own this. But, it’s pretty cool to know it exists and, if she wanted, blue-haired grandma Mable COULD get her ride on.

Every day while walking down the street we have to keep our heads on a swivel for one reason and one reason only: aspiring longboarders.

Cocky, speedy, and completely out of control, we know that if we aren’t careful, we could be felled at any moment by these backpack-clad rolling titans of obliviousness. So we grow to be a little annoyed by their kind and, by proxy, the sport they practice with such mediocrity.

Well, we’re here to tell you: We are wrong. We’re sorry. When under the feet of true pros, longboarding is one of the coolest things we’ve ever seen.

One last thing though. Guys in this video: Would it be so much to ask you to do some sort of cross country tutorial or something? For the safety of the children and all mankind? We could help facilitate it even. Okay? Call us!

Ken Block will always be the king of drift. But let’s call these guys the sport’s little jesters.

And OK, they’re not very little. The riders showcased here are grown men weaving tricked-out tricycles across the asphalt.

And their sense of humor is dark. One false skid and a rider might get swallowed up by the treads of oncoming traffic.

Want more? Check out the behind the scenes video with director Devin Graham.
