Examining your lines – your every kickflip, cutback and backflip – is easier than ever before when you attach the Trace to your board and let the science of movement do its job.

Capable of fitting in the palm of your hand, the Trace is waterproof, impact resistant and packed with tech, including a GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 7-hour battery. Additionally, its own processor and a set of 9-axis sensors ensure the activity monitor captures and interprets your every move.

AlpineReplay, the largest social network for skiers and snowboarders developed the Trace as an answer to the impossible-to-measure lines of action sports. Speed, vertical air, distance and even calories burned are all measured and attached to your profile on the AlpineRelay app. From there, you can jump on the leaderboards to compare and compete with your friends or the community.

The Trace activity monitor isn’t yet available commercially. Trace prototypes have been made and professional extreme athletes are already testing the device, but the developers are asking for your help to bring it to market. The Trace Kickstarter campaign is nearly at its $150,000 goal.
