The Best Internship on Earth: at least that’s what the Sierra Club is calling it. We have no reason to doubt the claim, made by one of the most revered environmental organizations on earth

This year the Sierra Club is looking for 2 adventurous young adults to crisscross the United States while video blogging their experiences.

Those experiences might include backpacking the Tetons, educating inner city kids on the great outdoors, or lobbying in Washington DC for clean air. The 10-week itinerary — starting in June and ending in August — will be totally flexible and made by you (if you get the job), with the organization’s full-time communications team pitching in remotely.

Sounds like quite the resume builder, and there’s cash involved, too. The Sierra Club internship is a paid temporary employee position with the company, with all-expenses-paid travel, plus $1,000 worth of North Face gear.

Looking to DO:MORE and apply? Candidates must express interest in one of two gigs: cameraman/video editor, or onscreen talent – “the next Quentin Tarantino or the next Jeff Probst,” according to the Sierra Club. Candidates must be 18 or older and be currently enrolled in school, or recently graduated. Check out the full application details for the best internship on Earth. Start filling it out quick, because the application deadline is April 9 at 5 p.m. PDT.
