Extreme sports events don’t get a whole lot more Adrenaline-fueled than Monster Energy’s Masters of Dirt. This year’s edition kicks off today, Feb. 22, at the Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria, featuring everything from quad and BMX events to FMX (freestyle motocross), MTB (mountain biking), motocross and more. Bottom line: if a sport involves dirt, revving and the likelihood of some brutal spills, it’s on the menu.

Leading international riders will perform the latest tricks to beats whipped up by the official Masters of Dirt DJ, Mosaken, who calls himself “an outstanding party rocker from Austria”. Throw into the mix some gravity-defying sled and drift riders.

The event’s motto is: “More dirt. More tricks. More danger.”

That sums it up well enough for us.
