Winter is just about over in the northern hemisphere, and that means filmmakers have had a full year to cull the best shots from not one season, but the previous two seasons that just elapsed.

Shot by Guido Perrini for TimeLine, this action reel features top tier skiers and freeriders such as Xavier de Le Rue, Candide Thovex, Lucas Dbari and Sam Anthamatten in locales as farflung as Alaska, the Alps and Japan.

Tryad’s “Breathe” functions as a fitting soundtrack to the 6-minute video, which features some of the most ethereal big mountain footage we’ve seen in 2012. The cinematography isn’t too shabby, either.
