June 24, 2011 – Cham, Switzerland
This happened nearly 2 months ago. The nameless blob rider catches so much air – 17 meters! — that he’s probably still shaking water out of his ears today. For those of you on the standard system, that is 55 feet of mountain-fresh Swiss Alpine air–a new Guinness Book blob world record. And he splashes down into just 3 meters of water above a lake floor of thick mud. If they’d added a fourth jumper, he might still be stuck in that mud. The water in his ears would be the least of his worries. As epic as it is, this is one world record that will almost certainly soon be smashed.
