700-Pound iPhone Dock Proves Bigger Is Better

Remember that scene at the beginning of Back to the Future, when Marty McFly plugs his electric guitar into a wall-sized set of amps and gets knocked off of his feet by the million or so decibels of awesome?

Behringer’s iNuke Boom can’t necessarily promise the same results, but it’s just as imposing as Doc Brown’s wall of sound.

It’s the biggest iPhone dock you’ve ever seen, standing four feet tall and eight feet wide, a 700-pound monstrosity capable of spitting out a skull-cracking 10,000 watts of sound. This is overkill redefined for the mobile generation, a beast of a sound system that will cost as much as a new car ($30,000) whenever retailers start selling it next year.
