Color, emotion, speed… paintball has all the necessary ingredients to cook up an electrifying viral video. If only a top chef would bring a high-speed HD camera and some editing skills into the kitchen.

Finally, someone did. Last November, the best paintball teams in the United States descended upon Las Vegas to take part in the National Professional Paintball League (NPPL) Finals. Paintball outfitter and event sponsor HK Army brought along a RED Epic camera to film the action. The video above is what came out of the oven.

It’s a winning dish. Not only does the slow mo show you the discipline it takes to be a championship team, it highlights some of the shadier aspects of the sport. You can see a slick “wipe” by one of the Dynasty players at 3:50.
