A video camera isn’t just a tool through which a videographer can share his experiences with others. To a solitary adventurer, a camera can be a man’s best friend.

That seems to be the case for Kepa Acero, a Basque surfer whose search for the perfect wave has taken him to an unspecified spot near Tierra Del Fuego, Patagonia.

Acero carries his camera over cliffs, sets it up on seaside vistas, and takes it into the waters to document a perfect left break. The result is a beautiful piece of filmmaking and a compelling case for what it must be like to be the last adventurer surfing at the end of the world.
