Because we’re afraid of clowns, we’re really not too hot on any of their accoutrements. Big red noses, water-squirting flowers, we hate it all. Unicycles, however, are different all together.

To be honest, we sort of always looked at unicycling as a circus trick, something hired entertainment does at kids’ birthday parties or struggling actors take up for their welcome gate gigs at Universal Studios Florida.

This video has proven us hopelessly and unforgivably wrong. These unicyclists are athletes of the highest ilk — true trick masters whose capacity to balance borders on supernatural.
