Le Reve – Jonathan Siegrist from MAXIM DYNAMIC ROPES on Vimeo.

The Paiutes were the original inhabitants of Arrow Canyon in remote southern Nevada. They were skilled craftsmen and hunters who could follow the stars to the Pacific ocean.

There is no historical record that any Paiute had ever done what Jonathan Siegrist did in February 2012.

It took 6 weeks and 30 attempts, but finally Siegrist climbed a line that no one had ever climbed before.

Now the 9a/+ climb has a name: Le Reve. It is French for “The Dream.”
