Logitech’s Cube Defies Convention

Move over, Apple. Your Magic Mouse is no longer the coolest kid on the block. Logitech’s newcomer computer mouse, the Cube, defies convention at every turn. It’s not even cube-shaped, though it IS rather more boxy than your average computer pointing device.

The Logitech Cube is a tiny thing, fitting easily into the palm of your hand. You can use it as you would any mouse on the surface of your desk, or you can lift it up to turn on “presenter mode,” clicking to flip between slides.

The Cube is equipped with a rechargeable Li-Ion battery and an actual, physical power switch that lets you conserve juice while on the go with the highly portable device. All you need is a Cube and a USB port for the receiver dongle, which actually allows you to connect up to six of Logitech’s Unifying-powered wireless devices at any one time.
