The smartphone revolution has helped people to realize that high-performance PC operations can be packed into relatively tiny packages… but how small can it get? How does 21 grams sound to you?
FXI’s Cotton Candy is a personal computer that is roughly the size of a USB stick. It comes packing an ARM Cortex A9 1.2GHz CPU with a quad-core GPU, 1GB of DRAM, wi-fi/Bluetooth connectivity, an HDMI-Out for connecting to an external display and up to 64GB of storage via the built-in microSD port.
Basically, you’re looking at the power of a next-gen tablet stuffed into a USB stick-sized shell. Pre-orders are available for $199, and the product will be launching in March.
