Degree Men’s No. 88 hydroplane has been testing and practicing before the Air National Guard H1 Unlimited Series gets underway at the Madison Regatta on July 6 in Madison, Indiana.

Our friends on the H1 Unlimited Degree Men’s hydroplane team just sent us this new video capturing some great cockpit experience. Now we can get a glimpse at the action that go on from inside while taming this 3,000 horsepower beast as it skims across water at speeds over 200 miles per hour. This video goes to show the skill and focus required of No.88 hydroplane driver, Scott Liddycoat, a 19- year veteran to hydroplane racing who is able to look past the splashing water on the windscreen. Liddycoat hopes to have another impressive season after winning the H1 Unlimited Rookie of the Year award in 2011.
